Memorial Service for Cynthia Dickinson

It is with great sadness that the family of Cynthia Dickinson announces her passing on 09 October 2020 in her 90th year. She leaves to mourn her 5 sons – Garry, Dartmouth; Ian, Owen, Brian and Charles, Ontario; grandchildren, Patrick, Clare, Colin, Mark, Michelle, Maurice, Simone, Shane, Todd, Kyra, Kyle, Terrence, Tamara, Garry Jr, Xavier; and 14 great-grandchildren. Survived by her sister Doreen Crick, Halifax, and predeceased by her husband Arthur. Cynthia was born on the Caribbean island of St. Kitts where she started playing the Organ at the age of 16 at the Wesley Methodist Church. In 1970 she made Nova Scotia her home where she lived for 50 years. Cynthia was the beloved organist and choir director of the Anglican Church of St. Andrew in Dartmouth for 30 years where she brought joy and inspiration to many. A memorial service will be held 11 am Monday October 19th in the Church of St. Andrew, 2 Circassion Drive, Dartmouth. Due to Covid 19, limited numbers will be able to attend in person.
